I had originally only enrolled in the class because I could not see myself in choir or art, so band was going to be my default. My instructor gave me one look, and instantly put me into the percussion section. I fell in love almost instantaneously. Day in and day out, from one-sixth grade, to this day, I play the drum set, tenor drums, snare drum, and piano. If not for the public school system introducing me to percussion, I would not have my escape from the real world. My biggest interest in life is music and I have school to convey for it.
